▍Product Description
Ningheda molded graphite blocks are high-performance synthetic graphite materials specifically designed for demanding industrial environments. Through advanced processes—including formulation and mixing, high-pressure molding, carbonization, and high-temperature graphitization—we have achieved a highly uniform and isotropic internal structure.
Unlike traditional extruded or vibration-molded graphite, our NX series of molded graphite blocks utilize a 25μm fine-grain formulation. This enhances material strength and machining precision while maintaining high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and thermal shock stability. The blocks can withstand prolonged exposure to ultra-high-temperature environments and erosion by acidic and alkaline media, providing customers with stable and reliable long-term performance.
To meet the diverse needs of various industrial applications, we offer three standard models: NX603, NX604, and NX605. Customers can select the appropriate model based on key parameters such as density, strength, and ash content, or request customized specifications. We provide purification, modification, and custom machining services tailored to specific requirements.

▍Product Advantages: Why Choose Ningheda Molded Graphite Blocks?
Areas of Strength | Performance of the Ningheda NX Series | Actual value to users |
Structural isotropy | Three-directional density deviation <3% | During EDM machining, electrode wear is uniform, resulting in higher precision of the mold cavities. |
Fine-grained structure | Average grain size: 25 μm | Surface roughness Ra ≤ 3.2 μm; suitable for direct use in precision mold cavities |
Precise density grading | Available in three sizes: 1.78, 1.85, and 1.90 | Select the most cost-effective solution based on operating conditions to avoid over-purchasing |
Ultra-high purity; customizable | Standard ash content ≤ 0.06%; can be purified to 30 ppm | Suitable for ultra-high-purity applications such as semiconductors and monocrystalline silicon for photovoltaics |
Large-scale molding capability | Maximum dimensions: 1500 × 600 × 200 mm | Reducing Seams to Improve Thermal Field Uniformity in Large Vacuum Furnaces |
Fully automated process control | End-to-end ISO 9001 quality control from raw materials to finished products | High batch-to-batch consistency reduces customers' costs for incoming inspection |

Q1: What is the difference between molded graphite blocks and isostatic graphite blocks? Which one should I choose?
A: Molded graphite is produced using unidirectional or bidirectional compression, making it suitable for manufacturing block-shaped products with similar dimensions and offering good value for money. Isostatic graphite is produced using 360° uniform compression, resulting in superior isotropy, but it is 30–50% more expensive.
Selection Recommendations: For general-purpose EDM electrodes, sintering dies, and continuous casting dies, molded graphite is sufficient. For extreme applications such as semiconductor wafer pulling, isostatic graphite is recommended. Ningheda offers both processes; please provide specific operating conditions so our technical team can make a recommendation.
Q2: Are you a genuine manufacturer?
A: Yes. Jiangxi Ningheda New Materials Co., Ltd. operates a 70,000-square-meter modern factory and is an ISO 9001-certified direct manufacturer. We have a complete production line covering everything from raw material processing to the finishing of finished products; we are not a trading company.
Q3: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)? Do you provide samples?
A: We accept orders starting from a single unit. We also offer free samples (within standard dimensions of 100x100x100mm); you only need to cover the international shipping costs. For complex custom samples, we charge a basic material and processing fee, but this can be offset against the cost of a subsequent formal order upon negotiation.
Q4: Can your graphite materials be further purified?
A: Yes. Although the standard ash content is already very low, we can further purify it to 30 ppm for specific semiconductor applications.
Q5: What should I do if I find cracks or defects in the graphite block after receiving it?
A: We conduct rigorous factory inspections. If the product is damaged during shipping, please take photos immediately and contact us; we will assist you in filing a claim with your insurance company. If the issue is due to a product defect, we promise to replace the item free of charge or issue a refund.
